Flooring questions
What flooring types do you install?
Hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, carpet and laminate, all selected in our showroom. Each has a right home: hardwood for warmth and longevity, LVP for durability and water resistance, tile for baths and high-traffic areas, carpet for comfort in bedrooms.
Is luxury vinyl plank really a good choice?
For many South Jersey homes, yes. Modern LVP convincingly mimics wood and stone, shrugs off water and wear, and suits shore properties and busy family homes especially well. We will show you the honest differences against hardwood in the showroom.
Do you refinish existing hardwood floors?
Yes: sanding, staining, polishing and repairs. Original hardwood is often worth saving, and refinishing typically costs well under replacement while restoring the floor's character.
What maintenance do different floors need?
Hardwood wants controlled humidity and periodic refinishing over its life. LVP and tile want little more than cleaning; tile grout benefits from sealing in wet areas. Carpet wants regular deep cleaning. We go over care for whatever you choose.
Can you install heated floors?
Yes, electric radiant systems under tile are a popular addition in bathroom renovations, and the design phase is the right time to plan them in.
Do you level subfloors before installation?
Always where it is needed. A flat, sound subfloor is the difference between a floor that lasts and one that telegraphs every flaw. Preparation is part of our installation scope, not an upsell.
